i don't understand the concept of festivals, celebrating them is fine, but the whole act of having to buy new clothes, cook more than usual, on an ANNUAL basis just seems all too tiring to me. I'm not being lazy or anything, it's jsut that, it's every year, don't people get bored of it?!
however something like a new job, now that doesn't happen often, or even a promotion, then it's something to celebrate. But the same thing every year? sigh
you should be greatful to whoever's taking care of you, (God and yourself included) everyday, not just on special occasions.
